Easy Fridge Jam

This Cherry jam could not be easier and has only 3 ingredients store in the fridge for up one week !

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes
Servings: 1 small mason jar

Ingredients:
– 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions:
1. Wash and pit the cherries. You can either use a cherry pitter or slice the cherries in half and remove the pits with a knife.
2. Place the cherries in a large pot and add the sugar and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
4. Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and becomes jam-like in consistency.
6. Remove the pot from heat and let the jam cool for a few minutes.
7. Transfer the jam to a mason jar and let it cool to room temperature.
8. Once cool, cover the jar with a lid and store it in the fridge for up to a month.
